Thanks Rick, I agree that doing the math it make sense but visually it doesn't, is far from being predictable and expected, what I mean is that AE is for making visual results not just math calculations even if everything in a digital image world is an excel in the interior the results has to be visual. So if one layer has an unconstrained scale plus rotation and you parent another layer that doesn't have unconstrained scale the scale shouldn't be deform as soon as you parented. Thanks Gutterfish, the solids I sent was just a quick project as an example, the real project has many layers and it's a logo animation where layers from .ai file are following others layers that has rotation and scale applied they are not only solids. But yes it seems that the bug is when the scale and rotation are applied together before parenting a layer. To be honest I can't tell if this error was there before or not, it's a pretty common operation so I guess it has to be a new bug I guess everyone will notice a major error like this. file a bug report to adobe didn't work for me in the past, neither sending them features recommendation so I don't feel very optimist about that. anyway, I guess I will need to do a new workflow for this comp. Same here, after upgrade a couple of month ago some layouts are working bad, drop down list is not working in media encoder. Not working at all in opacity mode inside premiere, and it doesn't work in export settings in premiere. Also when I call for a layout in workspace all the windows appears empty, only a couple of set are working but I need to arrange the windows everytime I open the apps cause they are in crossover or out of the screen. ... TAYLOR! THANKS MEN! That Kext was the problem! I delete com.paceap.kext.pacesupport.snowleopard and premiere is stable as a rock. being working for 10 days on huge huge projects, with lots of different camera formats, scrubbing fast forward and back and doing edits without a single crash, while on this same project I used to have at least 2 restarts per day. Thanks Taylor, I will uninstall and install CUDA again and see what happens. I need Cuda for C4D I hope I don't break anything since iray it's working perfectly. I check the crash log and it says com.nvidia.cuda.1.1.0 All my drivers are update, I guess if I move on to Sierra it may be newers version of CUDA and webdrivers but El capitan is working perfect on everything except premiere so I'm not sure about upgrading OSX yes, I bought the external PSU because I thought it was a power problem for my titanx. but it wasn't and SDD raids are not problem because last year I used another config on storage and the kernel panics was the same. Hi, I'm having same problem with premiere for years. Does anyone found a solution yet? benwinter can you confirm that Sierra fix this issue? I read that people with HS still got same Kernel panics. My system reboot twice today and 3 times yesterday.  It usually happens with large timelines scrubs. Running latest Premiere pro in a Mac Pro 2010 here. I also work freelance and I have to tell you that my old Mac Pro 2010 is most of the times way better than any brand new Mac Pro or imac. of course is an oldie with tons of updates. 4 internal SSD,  2 PCI SSD accelsior pro, PCI Usb3 and Nvidia TitanX, 64Gb Ram But yes. I edit 4K RAW DNG files, Prores with lumetris and fx realtime. I think this 8 years old Mac Pro will still be very good for at least 3 or 4 more years. ... View more

sorry to hear that. I understand your anger. maybe is an issue on PC that doesn't exist on Mac. as I said the only way to slowdown or have any issue with  CUDA playback on my mac is loading heavy plugins like neatvideo. There was also an issue with mercuryplayback that I found when the program monitor was in the same screen than the mercury playback destination output but when I moved the program monitor to another screen it was back to normal playback hope that was not your case. It was driving me mad and the solution right there. Lumetri runs incredible well with cuda on my Mac 4K RAW DNG files are played from a SDD PCI 2T CARD and it's a MacPro from 2010. (of course loaded with tons of updates like an HP Z) so maybe is just a bug in PPro windows version Good luck! ... View more

That's weird. I worked a lot in premiere.believe me I'm not a fan and I don't like where they are heading with the new updates. but to be honest I think cuda works great with my Nvidia TitanX. I edited 4K RED files with no issue and a few day ago I finished a tv commercila shot on 4K RAW DNG files plays smooth and perfect. I have a lot of other issues and things I hate about premiere but cuda with my nvidia GPU and dynamic link are the reason why I don't switch to another editing software. btw, if your FXs are slowing down you playback, (for example lumetri + neat video noise reduction) you can bypass all filters and then turn them on again with one click. there is a FX button you can add to the program monitor ... Even if I choose window menu>projects that will only lead me to the projects window my timeline screen is a mess of sequences. Thanks Neil, maybe it's a Mac issue. I use three monitors, two LG standard computer monitors for project/lumetri/scopes/timeline/FX control and a Nec calibrated monitor for program window FIT screen.  I don't use source monitor or reference monitor for editing. I checked several times and I couldn't find any fix. if you want playback full screen with mercury playback you need to move the program somewhere out of the main screen and you can't hide it ...
